Nothreat Completes HIPAA/HITECH Type 1 Attestation
Nothreat has completed an independent HIPAA/HITECH Type 1 attestation, examined by Advantage Partners under AICPA attestation standards. It joins the company's SOC 2 Type I report and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification.

Nothreat, a London-based preemptive cybersecurity company, has completed an independent HIPAA/HITECH Type 1 attestation. Advantage Partners carried out the examination under the attestation standards of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and assessed the design of the controls in Nothreat's health information security programme as of 13 July 2026.
The examination covered the administrative, physical and technical safeguards and organisational requirements of the HIPAA Security Rule, along with the breach notification requirements of the HITECH Act. The auditor issued a clean, unqualified opinion with no exceptions noted.
HIPAA is the US federal law that sets standards for safeguarding health data. Healthcare organisations subject to it need the vendors they work with, security vendors included, to meet the same requirements they do.
The attestation joins Nothreat's SOC 2 Type I report and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification. The HIPAA/HITECH report is available in the Nothreat Trust Center.
